Water Shop purified water is made fresh daily using no chemicals. Over 99% of contaminants are removed using a combination of water treatment technologies including sediment filtration, ion exchange, activated carbon, reverse osmosis, and ultraviolet sterilization.

At the WaterShop we take Burlington tap water which already meets minimum health requirements and from there produce the highest quality water available. You only receive water which has passed through the following stages:

• Sediment Filtration: Removes particulate matter such as sand, silt and rust particles.

• Ion exchange: Pre-Treats to remove reddish brown iron and scaling minerals.

• Activated Carbon Filtration: Removes unpleasant taste and odour, chlorine, volatile organic contaminants, herbicides, and pesticides.

• Reverse Osmosis: Water is forced under pressure through a special membrane which removes up to 99% of dissolved solids such as lead, copper, sodium, nitrates, radium, mineral salts and bacteria.

• Carbon Filtration: 0.5 micron carbon filter removes odors and freshens taste.

• Ultraviolet Sterilization: just before our water enters you bottle, it passes over an ultra violet light. This ensures the water you receive is bacteria and virus free.

• Periodically Tested: Water Analysis Tests are carried out periodically in an independent specialized laboratory to monitor water quality. Copies of the test results are available in store.
